Shepherd and Terrell are staking out a mysterious phenomenon—a blue light shining in an open field in Walbridge County, Alabama. The drunk Terrell attempts to find the meaning behind it, while Shepherd tries to revel in its unknowable meaning. This uncovers secret pain in Terrell, which leads him back to himself.
